These filters are made for "hot " water systems. The "for cold water use only " is just a precaution warning because all water filter systems must filter cold water. The water is then heated "after " the filtration proces.

Install Instructions:
1. Turn off Water Supply.
2. Remove existing filter.
3. Install new filter in head and turn till locked.
